Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Shipper to join our team. As a Shipper, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping orders in a warehouse environment. This is a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Utilize RF scanner to track inventory and ensure proper order fulfillment
- Load and unload shipments from trucks using forklift or other equipment
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation for outgoing packages
- Inspect packages for damage or defects before shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet shipping deadlines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping role preferred
- Proficient in order picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Familiarity with operating a forklift or other warehouse equipment
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
